Project: Caiçara Textile Art
It is an initiative that values coastal artisanal culture through the creation of unique textile pieces, produced manually with techniques that combine tradition and contemporary design. Each piece is born from care, experimentation, and deep respect for the Caiçara roots, revealing colors, textures, and stories that translate the essence and identity of the local community.
The project combines various techniques, uniting textile art in multiple approaches with three-dimensional wire frames. Beads and gemstones enrich the details, while painted or restored frames complete each piece.

01
Textile techniques
The project utilizes various textile techniques, such as petit point, punch needle, tufting gun, as well as hand embroidery and textile collage, creating pieces rich in texture and expression.
02
Applications
Bead and gemstone embellishments add sparkle, texture, and flair to the pieces. Each detail is carefully placed by hand, creating delicate compositions that enrich the finish and reinforce the handcrafted character of the works.

03
Three-dimensionality
The three-dimensionality achieved with wire structures gives shape, volume, and movement to the pieces. The hand-molded wire creates firm and expressive bases, allowing for compositions that project into space and enrich the artistic and sculptural character of the work.

Proposal
The combination of these elements results in works that balance artisanal precision, visual richness, and cultural identity, consolidating a unique language within contemporary textile art.
